About Us

Our research shows that 90% of Hawaii teens believe that people important to them don't want them to drink alcohol, and the majority, almost 70%, have made the choice to not drink. The Stronger Influence campaign is about informing parents that they are the number one influence in their children's lives. The goal of our campaign is to present facts about alcohol and provide parents with tools to facilitate clear, honest and direct conversations with their children about underage drinking.

This website and the Stronger Influence campaign are funded through a project of the National Guard Hawaii Counterdrug Support Office (NGHI-CSO). The Counterdrug Support Office is housed at the Department of Defense, Hawaii National Guard. Hawaii National Guard provides counterdrug support to federal, state and local law enforcement agencies, educational institutions, and community based organizations. The Counterdrug Support Office has established a working relationship with county, state, and federal law enforcement agencies on Oahu, Kauai, Maui, and the Big Island.
